Abstract Timelines
Abstract Submission Opens on 7th October 2024

(Note: Acceptance of abstracts is subject to approval by the jury. The decision of the jury is final.)
Guidelines for abstract submission:
Each author can present only up to 2 abstracts.
Abstracts submitted should preferably be original research work.
Abstracts already published or presented at previous conferences should not be submitted.
Abstracts may be submitted for oral/poster presentation.
Abstracts will be accepted only via Google form. Abstracts sent by email will not be accepted.
Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered

Standard abbreviations are acceptable. Uncommon abbreviations must be put in parenthesis and preceded by the full word the first time it appears in the text.
Registration:
The presenting author must be a registered delegate for the conference.
Certificates:
Certificate will only be provided to the presenting author.
Presenting author needs to be physically present at the conference
Certificates will not be handed over to any representative.

E - Poster
Award Papers: Only IADVL Maharashtra members can participate in following sessions. Post-Graduate (PG) Residents of Armed Forces colleges in Maharashtra can also participate in these award sessions.
Dr. A.C Parikh Award is given to Post-Graduate residents for best paper presentation. One paper (Case reports / Case series) will be nominated by each Head of Department from medical colleges
Dr. S. L. Wadhwa Award is awarded to Post-Graduate residents for best paper. One research study to be nominated by each Head of Department from medical colleges in Maharashtra. These can include Clinical trials, Epidemiological and Investigational studies.
Dr. D. J. PATIL Award Session shall comprise papers on most interesting case from life members of IADVL Maharashtra. The best presentation will be given the award. (This award is not open to residents.)
(Minimum 3, Maximum 5 papers will be selected from amongst the entries for presentation) Criteria for most interesting case: 1. Complicated presentation of common disorder
2. Rare presentation of a common disorder
3. A case having diagnostic clue
4. Reported but uncommon finding
5. New and unusual treatment modality
6. Unusual complication of therapy
7. Unforeseen complication
8. Unforgettable incidence in treating a case
Dr. Arvind Lonkar award is awarded to any member who has made a special contribution to the field of dermatology. Post Graduate dissertations of students who have passed their MD/DNB at first attempt during last year are also accepted as entries. Thesis is to be sent in PDF format (size less than 20 MB) to

One best E-Poster will be selected for

There will be a separate award for E- Posters submitted under the category
'Pediatric Dermatology' and Leprosy (Dr. Ganapathy Award)
